this week wasn’t a fantastic one. but it ended rather well. my grades are way below expectations. i’m intending to work hard. much harder for the 2nd half of the year. oh well. we were selling the remainders of the t-shirts during the meet the parents session. i must say, business wasn’t fantastic when we first started selling. it slowly picked up throughout the day. Kudos to Joel, our indefatigable salesman, he sold many many t-shirts. the root beer floats we sold in class was also a big hit. maybe it was just cause i’m such a nice guy and i scooped huge scoops of ice cream for them guys. we have raised $880.35 for the Cambodian children already. feel great to have helped the children who are living in poverty and to them, each day is another struggle. we will never know how hard life really is until we actually experience it. i’ve learnt to count my blessings, no matter how numerous. it’s good to help others. i pray for the people in Myanmar, those who are struggling with loss, those who are struggling with survival, those who still are lost. May God grant peace on them and keep them safe. the lessons of life are hard to learn. perseverance is one of them
